It's not working for me.
When I purchased this, I thought that it was going to be something that I could use on the counter top without having to permanently mount it.
There are no instructions included with the unit just a sheet that describes it and the specs. I tried it with an average size russet potatoes and found it difficult as best to pull the arm over using the shoestring blade. Finally I had to cut the potatoes in half and then again in half lengthwise in order to move the handle while trying to hold the unit still. I did add rubber feet so that it wouldn't slide. I'm now trying to figure out where to mount it. I had thought about sending it back but decided that the cost for return shipping would most likely be half the price of the unit. If I can't find a place to mount it I'll donate it to a soup kitchen or someone that can use it.

Better than expected.
I needed to run a connector to the T.V. in my master bedroom and this was perfect. I could use the same box that was in the wall for the T.V. cable and add the cat-5 connector. I purchased several so that I could do the other rooms.

Great Product
I have used this product for many years, nothing like it. I can't figure out why western digital discontinued this product, their loss. I haven't found anything else that can stream video to my tv like this unit.
