About
I am a senior restorer and collector of mainly Corvettes and Camaros, although recently
finished a W200 Stepside Utiline Power Wagon. I have been collecting since my fist 1965 396 Corvette.I love old muscle cars, powerful Mustangs and Corvettes. I have owned several years of every C1's-C6 models. I hang with a bunch of car fiends like myself. Cave Creek is a great place for car people.
For most of us, restoration is a passion, but an expensive hobby. I have the good fortune of friends who are genuinely NCRS experts. One nursed me through a 427/435HP Corvette engine restoration from a bare block. I learned a whole lot.
I have a lot of really skilled contacts for most any type of restoration work, including the rotisserie restoration of a rare 1969 Camaro Z10, which is making me broke right now.
I am always looking for cool cars here in Arizona and, from time to time, sell one
and buy another. Yes, I do some work on them myself and do have a lift in my garage which amazes most any guy who comes up here. But after sandblasting my Camaro RS/SS undercarriage lying on my back under it, in my gravel driveway, in August, I built
an air conditioned garage with a lift.

Good deal
These are a lot less than the set I bought to match the wrinkle finish valve covers and would have looked as good. Studs are a bit short for the tall covers but perfect for regular height valve covers.

Dries rock hard, can paint over it
It's a little shiny so I painted over it with a flatter product. I brushed it on as you really don't need to spray it and would probably need to be thinned. I had drip marks that dried hard as a rock. Definitely a enduring product that will protect for years. I had no rust to paint over just decided to experiment with it. Due to the sheen it does show every variation in the surface you paint. I would prefer a flat finish. It's true that if you get it on your skin you need to wipe it off immediately as once this stuff dries, it's almost impossible to remove. A little goes a long way, a pint will probably do an entire frame. In Arizona we don't really have much of a rust issue but a car that might be headed to the snow belt would benefit from a coat of it and looks a whole lot better than undercoating.

Very nice piece for restoration
These are expensive and you also need to buy the weatherstripping separately. I ordered the non tint as there could be a match problem and you can have the film applied to all windows to match. Well built, good piece that fit well. Made a big difference in appearance from the pitted frames that were in there.
