Easy to install always works smooth .
I repair and restore bikes for resale .
I have purchased several of these same shifters over the years .
This brand and type of shifter always installs easily and works very well
with any index shifting system .

They are a great replacement for original brake pads on older bikes .
These are the closest shape to the original brake pads on the vintage Schwinn that I am restoring . They are sufficiently soft enough to provide good braking power .
