Be very careful when purchasing. Make sure it is good. Go to a vet!
This has been a bad winter for fleas. Couple that with a problem with the Frontline Plus, and I sorry to say that it was totally ineffective. Called Merial to no avail. Found out through the dog world grapevine that there was a problem rendering the chemicals ineffective. We bought some after the "problem" and got excellent results. This lapse in effectiveness cost us over $200 in meds to get rid of a huge flea infestation (our first in 25 years of dogs) and the subsequent tapeworms in our dogs. Bottom line-- We trusted Frontline Plus and it let us down.
