Size Medium fits Tekota 500LC perfectly
I was worried that the medium reel cover would not fit the Tekota 500LC since the linecounter sticks out the side of the reel. I’m glad to report that they fit perfectly. Also, I purchased a couple of the same covers for some Daiwa Accudepth ADP27LCB reels and they fit great as well.

Flo-Torq III Hub Kit
I had some prop rattle with my new stainless prop at idle when putting my engine into gear. I had the Flo-Torq II kit installed when this occurred. After some research, I ordered the Flo-Torq III kit and the rattle completely disappeared. Duh, that's what Mercury designed it for. I just wish it was included with the prop kits. If I had three thumbs they'd all be up for this product.

All good except a couple details
To replace the thermostat housing you need an Oetiker stepless clamp number 36.1 which is not included in the kit. These can be purchased online in packs of 5 for relatively cheap. You will need Oetiker’s crimping tool to install the clamp, but a pair of side cutters will work in a pinch, pun not intended. Also, there aren’t any instructions as to the proper torque values for the thermostat housing, water pump housing, or lower unit. However, a quick call to Mercury tech support alleviated this problem. Plan ahead and call them M-F with your engine S/N for proper torque values. They also recommend Loctite 527 on the thermostat screw threads, which is not mentioned anywhere in the kit.
Otherwise, this is a great, mostly inclusive kit to perform your 3yr/300hr service yourself.
