Quality control not as good as OEM
Weight savings for my pedals was around 45g for the pair compared to my chrome-molly spindles. Reason for the mediocre review is that the enduro bearings (outer bearings) fit tight on this new spindle which means if you need to remove the spindle again for cleaning/re-lubing, then it's going to require a bit more effort. The other small issue I had is that one of my pedals would not spin freely with the end-cap tightened all the way in. I double-checked to make sure the bearings were on all the way. To remedy this, I just backed off the end-cap about a half turn. The end caps thread on with some effort, so I don't think I will have an issue with it backing off. For these reasons, I will probably not purchase another set of these spindles, but I would still barely recommend them. Your results may vary.

Essential Tool for the DYI Bike Mechanic
I went years trying to use regular cutting tools and crimpers before finally deciding it was time to bite the bullet and buy this tool. Was absolutely amazed at how easy it makes the job! I should have bought this years ago. A clean housing cut is absolutely essential for allowing the cable to move freely within the housing without binding to shift properly. This tool cuts the housing and the cable like a hot knife through butter and has a nice crimper to crimp the end cap onto the cut-end of the cable. If you're on the fence considering this tool, buy it as I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Excellent Product!
Used this to convert the toslink optical output from a TV to a headphone jack. Works great and the sound quality is impressive. I am very glad I found this model with the volume control because without it, the audio would just pass through at full blast. Like another reviewer mentioned, make sure your audio out is set to PCM from your TV's settings menu, otherwise no audio will pass through.
