Very good lens at a good price.
The images are clear, the USM works perfectly, and the aperture range is great for the price. I purchased this for better low-light than the standard 50mm from Canon (the 1.2 is far too pricey). My variable ND filter stuck and had to be broken to be removed, hopefully it was the filter and not the lens, the CPL filter goes on and off well.

HINT: before giving up try the easy things first.
I purchased this for a second network drive to hold sharable information for everyone on the network, not as a backup drive. I have a drive to install so purchasing a unit that needed disk repair was not an issue. I installed the TC on the network, reset to factory defaults, configured it to the network, all worked fine.
When AirPort brought up the drive it did report the drive as needing repair. For curiosity's sake I tried a simple reformat of the drive, that was all the "repair" that it needed. It's only a 1TB drive so I will still be replacing it with the spare 2TB drive that I have. Seems strange no one ever tried a reformat of the drive, their loss, my gain.

Apple's standards aren't what they used to be.
0 of 11 found this helpful This is a decent tablet with a really good battery life. It's lightweight, screen display is, in most situations, good (highly reflective screen and not very bright outdoors). My biggest gripe is with the software, almost every piece of software requires a subscription, not free or outright purchase. For a business a $79/year subscription might be a good investment, but for the average consumer it adds up quickly for software you might used 1-2 times per month.
