Fantastic Central American coffee
I am really loving the new wave of natural and honey process Centrals. This has always been my favorite coffee-growing region, but the natural process adds an extra level of body and complexity to already-great coffees. This coffee has a wonderful chocolate-covered apricot flavor profile that everyone loves. I brew mainly drip with some espresso, and this works well in both. I roast mainly to full city plus, and these beans roast evenly (consistent size) with no scorching; could certainly go much darker.

Perfect watch for all-around use; easy to read dial!
I have a vast collection of Eco-Drive watches, so I obviously love them. Just got this one for an unbelievable low price, and it's quickly becoming a favorite. It's really sharp looking, but without being at all garish. It has some heft to it, with its solid SS bracelet, but it's not too heavy. It is comfortable and all edges are eased---no pokey bits anywhere. The dial is very easy to read, though the date window isn't (typical for most Eco-Drives). Good lume on it, too. Timekeeping is essentially perfect---set it to the atomic clock and it will be within a second or two months later. Power reserve is great, and there's no problem keeping it charged, which is important when you have a lot of watches and don't wear any one of them every day. In general, I find that the larger Eco-Drive watches like this one hold a charge for much longer than the smaller or slimmer ones; makes sense that the bigger watches have bigger batteries.

Excellent Flieger-style pilot's watch
Very attractive and nicely made watch in the Flieger style. The dial is exceptionally easy to read in all light, though the date window is small (OK with me, since I ignore that.) The band is comfortable and has a high quality leather lining, which takes a small amount of breaking in. It also has fine adjustment---plenty of holes, close together, for a perfect fit. Very nicely styled and well put together.
