E-Bay "USED" definition
I purchased a USED computer monitor because I needed a functioning monitor.
E-Bay defines USED as "functions for the purpose intended". The monitor arrived without power, video and sound cables so obviously the monitor will not function for the purpose intended. I was told by e-Bay that I should not have assumed that it came with cables because it was a used monitor. This does not make sense at all. If I buy a pair of shoes, I know that it comes with laces if they are needed to use the shoes for the purpose intended. So the same with a computer monitor, you need the cables to use it for the purpose intended. This is basic common sense. It appears to me that e-Bay has a problem with their definition of "USED". A buyer should not have to bear the burden of assuming that the definition of "USED" may be wrong as used in product advertisements.
