Disappointing
0 of 13 found this helpful I bought this cd because I had heard a couple of cuts from it that I liked. Plus the music industry and fans raved about this cd. Frankly, I should have just bought the cd singles of the songs I liked because I didn't like the rest of the cd. Too much violence and profanity for my taste. If someone wants their ears assaulted every other word or have violent tendencies, then they will love the cd. And this is coming from someone who listens to everything from classical to country music. You'll find Vivaldi and Beethoven, and The Phantom of the Opera and Christina Aguilera and India Arie and Maroon 5 and Rhianna in my collection. I truly love music, but this cd hurt my ears. Perhaps the version with all the expletives taken out would have been more palatable for me.

Not that good
1 of 3 found this helpful I bought the cd because my 4 year old heard the song Viva La Vida on the radio and loved it. I was hoping the rest of the cd would be good too, but it really wasn't. Viva la Vida was the only song on the cd that I liked. It was the only one that had any deviation from the patented "Coldplay" style. I also read about the legal controversy stating that Coldplay borrowed parts from another artist without permission. I'm beginning to wonder because Viva La Vida is a total departure of their sound and it was the best song on the cd in my opinion. If you want to listen to it, borrow it from someone who already has it or go on Youtube and listen to as many cuts as possible before you buy it.
This reveiw is coming from a dancer whose family loves music. I have over 300 cd's, my nephew has over 700 (he worked for a music store), my brother has over 300 too. We listen to EVERYTHING. And we introduce new music and artists to eachother all the time.

Nice hat
I bought this because my daughter had a presentation on the Revolutionary War. This is a nice hat with the added feature of the white hair attached in the back. The gold embellishment is really nice too.
