For want of a bit the horse was lost...
This little adapter turned two nice Yashica rangefinder cameras from shelf candy into
very serviceable cameras. I was inspired to replace the light seals on them too...
( Yashica MG-1 f2.8 45mm, Electro 35 f1.7 45mm). Light seals black cotton yarn and
Titebond 1.

Serviceable tailpiece for steel core and perlon strings
I bought three for some violins I came across, they work fine, maybe not as slick as
the german composite ones, but good.

Light, versatile film camera
2 of 2 found this helpful When I started photography in the sixties I couldn't conceive of a camera like this. I'd have to find an SLR, 3 Different lenses, a good light meter, and a bag to carry them all around with. And who would have expected autofocus? This is a camera that can do it all that would be easy to overlook. Similar equipment is the Nikon N65 and the Minolta Maxxum 3. I have two Pentax MZ-50s, one with the 35-80mm zoom and one i use my other Pentax Takumar lenses with. I like to be able to use it autofocus or manual. I also like the fact I can get the batteries at the drug store. It would be fine as a person's only film camera.
