A mixed bag - great camera but not easy to use fully.

The Good - great picture quality, compact size, low weight, nicely put together, good design, large range of lenses and accessories available. The not-so-good - Difficult to pull out LCD display to vary angle, overcomplicated menu system, company about to be sold off thereby questioning what will happen to the brand, too many button presses and knob turns to enable the wealth of controls to be used effectively. Video capability is good, but not up to today's better standards. Suitability - For shooters who want a very capable quality camera that's small and light, offering excellent quality shots and a huge range of features., and don't insist on current video capability.

Not as good as you'd think

Compact charger but can be used only with N-Mh batteries. There are 3 different coloured lights for each of the 4 channels to indicate state of charge, but they are difficult to differentiate. The charger sacrifices battery longevity for charging speed, and some of the batteries get quite hot. If you can get one at 50% off as I did, it's worth it otherwise there are better and more consistently performing chargers.

Panasonic 12-60 f3.5-5.6 M4/3 lens: good performer but not good value.

The good: Sharp, smooth zoom, light weight, solid build. Not so good: Bulky, expensive, ought to be brighter than a kit lens.
