Brandon Mull's terrific conclusion to a great series
This is the finale in the Beyonders series. It is one of our family's favorite series of books. We love everything Brandon Mull has published, and this group of 3 books is our favorite of those. His characters are real, the world he creates is original and captivating, and we love the story. I am not one to purchase audiobooks, but Jeremy Bobb does a good job with the reading, the story is fantastic, and my children and I look forward to listening on our next road trip. I love the fact that the story resolves, not through any trick the writer could've come up with, but with the characters each striving to do their best within their personal talents, working together as a group with trust in each other. Good life lessons for all. Well-written, well-read and worth many readings and listenings.

Terrific set for the modern Dr. Who fan
For the modern-version Dr Who fan this is a terrific set. It is missing a few specials related to the 50th anniversary, but it has almost all the Christmas specials. This set also includes all the special features from each series - note that the separate set of the Eccleston/Tennant years is missing those features. All in all a terrific buy, and I'm very glad to have it.

good reader, great book and series by one of our favorite authors
This is the first in the Beyonders series (3 books total) by Brandon Mull. My children and I love the series and each of us has read it multiple times. I got the audiobooks from the local library and quite enjoyed the reader.
It's very rare for me to purchase an audiobook. Many audiobook readers are talented, but I have to really love both the book and the way it's read in order to make the investment in an audiobook. I have to be able to picture my children and me enjoying it on a road trip. And yeah, we were spoiled by Jim Dale doing Harry Potter, no one else comes close. But Jeremy Bobb does a very good job with these stories that we love, and so this was the second series of audiobooks I actually purchased. I look forward to sharing this with my children on the next trip.
We have thoroughly enjoyed everything Brandon Mull has written. We believe that Beyonders is his best series so far, which is really saying a lot after the Fablehaven books. The world he creates is both original and captivating, and the characters very real. We love this series.
