Excellent refresh of the Tarzan story.
An excellent new refresh of the Tarzan story. I love Margo Robbie and/or Cristoph Waltz in any role and all of the characters in this film are so well done. Along with amazing cinematography, they make this an exciting film. In Bluray on my massive home theater display, with 7.1 surround cranked way up, WOW!

An essential part of and serious horror collection.
This isn't as viscerally frightening a film as perhaps The Conjuring, Insidious or Sinister. It doesn't come right out with frightening imagery or a viciously evil storyline. What The Babadook is, is a very well written and well developed story of emotional torture and personal horror as a loving mother's relationship with her young son is gradually pulled apart by a sinister force. As the relationship is torn apart from within, the two are at the same time isolated from all those around them who might offer help or support. Thus, they face the horror alone.
While the horror in The Babadook isn't as boldly presented as in some other horror offerings, such as those mentioned above, the horror is still very real for the well developed characters. You definitely feel their suffering especially since the characters are solid and convincing.
As an absolute horror junky and avid horror film collector, I would say that The Babadook is an essential part of any serious horror collection.

Great action film series.
This is Matt Damon's take on James Bond and he rocks it. I can sit down and watch all five films straight through and never get bored with it. Great action film series.
