save some $
fit perfect. comes with harness to easily reverse polarity if truck built after 8/2005. no instructions for this though. very quiet and smooth operation.

Don't assume
Ad didn't mention spring, which is necessary for this to work. Spring goes mia when cap flies off. I should have asked before ordering part that is useless unless I spend more money. Bought a refurbished line trimmer for same cost as housing and spring and it works like a champ. Gave housing to Goodwill.

Great value.
For less than the cost to fix my old trimmer I got this refurbished one. Looked as if someone took it out of the box, then put it back in and returned it. No sign of usage.
