Yongnuo YN968N Wireless Flash Speedlite For Nikon D7500 D7100 D3100 D3300 US

Feature packed but with some flaws

This is my second YN968N, what's attractive to me is the features that are packed into the unit, especially, the RF receiver and transmitter that are both built-in, so I don't have to buy separate transmitter or receiver to trigger it. One thing I noticed is its power output seems to be lower than the company's earlier product, in particular, I have their YN568EX, when both are set at, say 1/8 power, the 968 seems to be at least one full stop lower output. In TTL mode, it seems to match the 568EX. But if I use it in manual mode, the output is way lower than the 568EX, which is supposed to be a lower model. Both of 968N are the same in terms of this lower power output, despite the company's claim that 968N has slightly higher guide number.

Good value and good product!!!

The product comes with everything you need, it even comes with a small screw driver for the screws. Heat sink pad, and outer sleeve to prevent dropping, and a bag to carry around. It's a lot of product for the money. Performance wise, it's as expected, just as advertised. Highly recommended!
