conditionally excellent
These pumps are great-if it works. I had one that worked great until I lent it to a friend, who lost it, and one that I just purchased, that did not work right out of the box. When they work, fabulous.

A Grand Tale, Rippingly Told.
I found this book to be both informative and entertainingly written, and very much enjoyed it as a story, I particularly appreciate the effort made by the author to include narratives of people other than the usual kings and generals, and there are many narrative from the Lower Ranks, the minor functionaries of John Company, and even numbers of women who came to India from Britain, and were participants in these affairs as much as the men. I enjoyed every minute spent reading "Sahib", and will look Richard Holmes' other books to read and enjoy, And wouldn't it be grand entirely if he wrote one about the Sepoys, Sikhs, and Gurkhas.

Some of the best kick yer ass rock music of all time, with powerful and intriguing lyrics, unique vocal arrangements, driving guitar licks, thunderous bass, and passion galore. It is the music your parents tried to suppress, or mine did, anyway. A modern day passion play.
