Denso radiator replacement for 1985 380SL Mercedes Benz
Very pleased with the radiator. It arrived double boxed to prevent damage. In fact I had a hard time getting it out of the box! Looks like the original part minus the MB logo/ part number stamped on the top. The mount for the Fan shroud was the only thing I had an issue with. My shroud uses bolts on the top and Clips on the bottom. The bottom mounts on the Denso radiator were welded nuts like the top. I could not use the clips unless I removed the nuts. It was easier to drill holes in my shroud and use bolts like the top. No big deal. The radiator has been installed for over a week and works well. It is well constructed and very nicely painted. This was a good value considering the other alternatives out there. The 380SL is not a very popular model in the US, so Installing a non MB part and worrying about resale value was of no real concern. Highly recommended. Thank you.
