wish it would come with an adapter since it has a receptacle for it.
1 of 1 found this helpful easy to use. however, when I tried to use an adapter for power instead of batteries, it burned out and I needed to get another one. that is why 4 stars instead of 5

Works well, good price, battery powered.
I purchased several Volmate Fingertip Pulse Oximeters to share with friends when we get together for an exercise party. The voltmeter will be used to compare readings before and after exercising.
The price was right(that's why I purchased several) and the device functioned well even though it felt less sturdier than my Medline Fingertip Oximeter.
The main problem I notice was that the battery life was very short and I found myself replacing batteries more than I wanted to. I am not sure if this is a battery problem or the voltmeter just eating away at the battery juices. Constant replacement of batteries could be expensive especially if you have to replace batteries and several devices.
