A wonderful companion book to the Bible.
Much better than expected. It's a great companion book to help you better understand some of the difficult reading in the Bible. This is not a replacement for the Bible, but I feel like it reads faster and more smoothly than a King James. This book will help you with the "Big Picture" concepts and stories mostly through the wordy Old Testament.
