This is A&F's Masterpiece
Abercrombie and Fitch has released over a dozen fragrances for men over the last 2 decades. Nothing has caught on quite successfully as Fierce, but that is ok. They still routinely release fragrances that smell lovely. Although they frequently miss the mark too: reformulated Woods, 1892 Red, Cobalt, and Yellow, and a few others. However, in the midst of those abysmal "color" fragrances, 1892 Green is an absolute gem. I remember first trying it in 2012 and being blown away that Green had not been a smash hit. I missed my opportunity to purchase a bottle then, but I am elated to find one now.
In 2011, A&F released the 4 colored fragrances and shortly after began to discontinue all of the scents (other than Fierce) mentioned above. The brand had taken some major hits financially, and the CEO revealed himself to be a major tool in various interviews with the media. Since then, they've attempted to reinvent the brand into something more family-friendly while still being sexy and distinct. It is a shame that Green was discontinued, because it is lovely. I own Fierce and Green and about a dozen designer fragrances. When A&F releases a good scent, it is a REALLY good scent. I hope they bring this one back.

First purchased in 2010
5 of 5 found this helpful Back in high school, this was my first ever cologne. I bought it from Walgreens just before my sophomore year. I remember being afraid of using cologne, because I feared I would be seen as a "try hard" lady's man. I was just barely venturing into form-fitting clothes, layering, and trendy hairstyles.
This scent opened so many doors for me. It drew immediate compliments. Girls loved it! In fact, routinely a few females would come to my locker and ask me to spray it again.
Here's the thing: this fragrance is inexpensive, but it is top knotch in terms of longevity and projection. It is spicy and dark when wet and sweetens as it dries. It's a total date fragrance. 2 sprays can last me 8 hours.
I have plenty of designer colognes to compare this one against. None...NONE have garnered as many compliments.
When I ran out of this back in 2012, I forgot about it. I expanded my collection to Nautica, Ralph Lauren, Viktor & Rolf, Abercrombie, Gucci, and so on...
Just now in 2016 am I remembering why I first purchased this fragrance. It is lovely.
So I just picked up a 3.4oz package for the price I paid for my 1.7oz back in 2010. :)
Try it! I guarantee others will comment on the scent.
