Makes great tea; nice appliance to have
2 of 2 found this helpful My 2nd one. First one, a gift from a friend, stopped working after a family member accidentally turned on the stove burner underneath it. Liked it so much that I hunted for the same brand.

3rd Generation even better than before!
Been a NEST fan for more than 12 years. One of my previous thermostats failed, probably after prolonged power surges or nearby lightning strike. HVAC tech insisted that Ecobee is a superior thermostat, but I hated it, Had him take it back and bought the 3rd gen NEST. Very pleased to get back the features I was familiar with plus a few new ones.
