Serves a specific purpose
1 of 1 found this helpful Purchased specifically to carry in the farm pickup to air up low tires on equipment. Not something I'd use in the shop due to it's low output but beats the heck out of struggling with large air tanks and/or gas powered compressors. About 2/3 the size/weight of Milwaukee with 75% of the output for 1/2 the cost.
Since I didn't want to add another set of batteries to my inventory, I bought an adaptor to allow the use of RIDGID batteries and that was a super idea. A 4.0 RIDGID battery will run this compressor for approx 45 minutes.

How well it works depends on the age of the pump you're trying to fix.
This rebuild kit is intended for newer series 5200 hand pumps. Older pumps are a bit different. Consequently, several parts of this kit aren't correct for older pumps.
I spent a lot of money on parts I can't use and didn't get some of the parts I really needed. The new piston rings are TOTALLY different and not real sure how well those are going to work. New pumps use a packing ring to seal the back cover(this is in the parts kit). Older pumps use a flat gasket (NOT in the parts kit).
I'd have saved money and time just buying a new pump even though it cost 3x what the repair kit cost.

Great for smaller jobs or in the field needs
I gave a couple of these as gifts 2-3 years back and they held up well. When I needed a more mobile welding table than the 400# monster in my shop, I bought one for myself.
Work surface height is good unless user is really short or tall. Legs are sturdy and don't wobble. Surface is thick enough to maintain flatness w/o being too heavy but this is NOT an anvil and it will dent if hammered on.
