Quality material, reasonably well made and quite enjoyable.
Unique and complete, this is a quality Monopoly game that will provide a lot of entertainment and looks nice in your home. It is a piece of furniture. If you have the chairs they make a nice addition to the whole package. The game pieces are well made as they should be with houses and hotels gold plated. Deeds are given an extra advantage with a nice display "wallet" that holds them when not in use and makes finding them during game play easier. The game play area itself is suitable for containing the dice throw without knocking hotels about with reasonable caution. The glass top keeps the felt playing field clean during periods of non-use.
The table is quite solid and contains 4 trays, one for each player to keep their money and deeds. This is a bit against the rules since they state that the deeds must be in plain view of all players so if you play seriously with a group you would have to make allowances for that.
Monopoly itself is a wonderful form of entertainment, and if played strictly by the rules, the game moves along quite fast and is ended in 60 minutes. Probably less than 1% of people have ever played the game strictly by the rules which is fine, but causes the comment that the game is too long. Try playing by the rules and you will be surprised at how fast the game is over.
The downside of this set is that the finish (cherry) of the pedestal is a bit thin and should be cared for lest it show wear easily. Pets and vacuum cleaners are it's worst enemies. While the quality is worthwhile, it tends to be over priced and you will routinely see very high asking prices.
When the set was sold originally the game was $600, glass top $90, pedestal/table $300 and the chairs were $125.00 each. So approximately $1,500 for the entire collection. You will see the set minus the chairs routinely now for half or less that.. i.e. $500.00 Chairs are somewhat uncommon but not rare. I would not recommend them for someone over 250 lbs.They will support that weight but not on a regular basis, not for long anyway.

Nice kit, not as crisp as an original Tamiya kit but with the new floats it looks good.
Nice model of a relatively rare subject. I believe that this is an Italeri kit that was a new mold in 2010 and Tamiya took it and improved some parts and decals. It appears that the floats were re-done and they look quite nice. Reasonable decal sheet but this is not a glamorous model with flamboyant markings. Well suited for a naval diorama base.

Quality kit of a title not often found in 1/48 scale
Quality model that offers the option of wings folded our out for flight.
