Sturdy and does its job well.
2 of 2 found this helpful I really like this thing. For someone who still enjoys playing their Gameboy Advance SP as an adult this item was a profound relief for strain and cramps on my hands. Fact is, I liked it so much that I ended up buying 2 more as gifts for other SP players and they love them and use them quite often.
What I like about it:
It is the perfect size to keep my hands from getting cramped while playing games that involve a lot of heavy L and R button usage.
(For me that's mostly Metroid Fusion/Zero Mission. But it's also nice to have the extra grip to hang onto during fast paced games like Super Mario 2 or F-Zero GP Legend)
It makes it much harder for me to lose track of my SP and holds it tight enough that it doesn't fall out by falling or moving quickly. You have to be trying to get it out of the holder for it to actually come out.
There is enough space that it is possible to change cartridges without having to remove the game console from the holder, which is a very nice feature.
It also makes it way easier and more comfortable to play on if you are hooking it up with a Nintendo Game Boy Advance to GameCube cable, as it makes it more similar to a classic GameCube controller design.
Oh, and the silver color holder matches my Silver SP almost exactly! I say that because I think there may be like a tiny shade of difference between them but my SP is well used and secondhand so...it could be either of them that aren't quite right but I can't really tell unless I'm looking super hard.
What I dislike:
By itself it feels too light for my liking, I don't know how much punishment it can take without breaking. (Not that I plan on testing it's limits at any point in the future.)
Only other thing I don't like about it is that it does kinda make the SP too big to put into a purse or slim computer bag.
It's pretty easy to put it into a drawstring bag or backpack though, and I don't have to worry about it coming apart or getting damaged in any way.
Overall I'd say that the purchase was well worth it.

A sturdy compact little gadget that really surprised me!
I love this thing, it can be a bit hard to find now since I think it's an outdated model, but after I got one I had to get some more to share with my family. It was both a bit bigger and smaller than I expected which I know sounds like an oxymoron but what I mean is that it was a bit taller than I expected but not quite as long.
Pros: (In my opinion)
1) It only takes 2 AAA whereas most other similar wireless models take 3, Since most battery packs you can buy come in even numbers I appreciated this fact.
2) It fits really well in my hand, I can hold it both from handle on top or put my hand through the middle to get a firmer grip and it doesn't hurt my hand to do so. (My hands are a bit on the small side though, might not be so easy for those with bigger hands)
3) The design is great! The four ball feet feel great on sore muscles even if you run out of batteries and can help provide relief, not as much as when the batteries are working but I thought it worth mentioning. Also I was at first a bit concerned about the small raised ridges on the top handle, but they turned out to be very smooth and they don't leave marks on my palms.
Cons: (Also my opinion)
1) As the batteries run down so the vibrations do too. You might think "Well duh." but like I mean a lot. After sharing the first massager I got for awhile, I then got some more as presents for my "Borrowers" so that they would leave mine alone. But when I was testing them to be sure they worked it almost scared me how much stronger the vibrations where that came from them. I then swapped the batteries just to make see if that would make the difference and mine felt all fired up too! So while the batteries have lasted for a pretty long time it doesn't come without a cost in the strength of the vibrations. I'm sure eventually it just stops working, but most people might want to change the batteries before they get to that point.
2) It's plastic. I'm not a huge fan of plastic in general but mostly because of the breakdown rates and aging, easier to damage or chip, etc, But my only main annoyance with this product is that is you are pushing firmly, trying to really work out a sore muscle group, it well, creaks. Not a lot, it doesn't really feel like it's trying to break apart and nothing has come loose on any of our little machines yet, it's just a minor annoyance on my part that other people might also consider a drawback.
Other than what I've listed so far, I have had no problems or complaints. I really do enjoy this little turtle-looking gadget
