Went to change filter 3 weeks later and almost all of the filter was sucked up into the a/c vent!
1 of 2 found this helpful Went to change this air filter and was horrified that the filter had come apart and the middle fabric, although still attached to the paper box corners, was 75% free and being pulled into the a/c system. If I had not changed it at the three week period, I don't think anything would have been left. This filter dissintegrated in my a/c system. Very poor quality and although I purchased a box of them, I will not use them again. Had to tear and pull the pieces out of my filter grid to remove it entirely. The metal was bent and twisted as well and did not provide enough support to the filter to prevent this from happening.
