ThermaCell Mosquito Repellent Appliance really works
Been using these since 2003. At that time I lived in Missouri and we frequently camped in the Mark Twain National Forest. When we arrived, first thing was to set out 3-4 of these on the ground around the perimeter of our camp site and then wait about 15 minutes. After that, we just didn't get attacked by mosquitoes. I also used them when I setup my telescope for viewing. Just did not get bit by the critters! If there is no wind, these gizmos work great, if the wind is 10 mph, the mosquitoes have a lot of problems finding people so no need for the ThermaCELL.
Fast forward to 2010 and my retirement to South West Florida (south of Fort Myers). Here the mosquitoes are a problem day or night. Several of these around my telescope keep the critters at bay day or night. Here in Florida, they even work on the No-See-UMs providing you don't do something stupid like sit in the grass. I always put a tarpaulin down for my telescope and 4 of these on the perimeter of the tarpaulin keep me pest free! Even in the Everglades, they keep the mosquitoes away and also the deer flies!
Love the product!
Google for how to refill the butane cartridges and there is a far less expensive alternative to the ThermaCELL mats as well. With that in mind, these are extremely effective and economical. I always hated DEET and the odor and the chemical actually attacks my telescope gear (optics and such)!

Shipper sent it in STATIC NOT ANTISTATIC packaging and motherboard was D.O.A.
Too bad because this is an excellent motherboard that was destroyed by the shipper when he wrapped it in tissue paper and styrofoam peanuts rather than ship it in approved antistatic packaging.

Poor Choice unless you own a Lian Li case
Only works in Lian Li Computer Cases.
Cannot be made to work in any standard case.
