An overbuilt pedal pair
I wasn’t sure that the TRS output of this device would properly, independently switch effects on my Roland 20xl bad amp. Luckily, both pedals work flawlessly. A new label for each and they’re ready for rehearsals. The long cord may be a benefit or a hassle; I’ll have on hand a velcro tie to bundle the excess. I’m glad I considered this product rather than seeking a new or Roland-branded alternative.

iRig analog guitar interface - high Z
1 of 1 found this helpful My third device of this type, each one significantly cheaper than the previous, now I give them as gifts to starting guitarists. It seems constructed well enough to last with gentle handling, yet it is inexpensive enough to quickly replace. It lacks a few features of the digital HD model which I have, slightly prefer, and for which I paid significantly more.

Learning to like the August gen. 3 smart lock
The device does a fine job of locking and unlocking the conventional deadbolt in my front door. I purchased before understanding that this kit required the August Connect bridge to integrate the system’s Bluetooth with a home’s WiFi network, so now I’m shopping for that bridge separately. The motor groans a bit with the effort of turning the lock and I wouldn’t be surprised if the 4 AA batteries were depleted in a few months. I hope the hardware will last. Occasionally the system succeeds in detecting that I’ve come home and unlocks before I grasp the handle. In all cases it compiles a useful log of who operated the lock when. Sometimes the system locks the door when I’m home yet wish it left unlocked, so perhaps more familiarity with the controls or perhaps expanding options in the iPhone app will resolve this issue. I like the system well enough and will experiment with the integration of an August Doorbell Cam Pro — I’m in for a pound, it seems. Perhaps not a good value, this system is still vastly cheaper than any hardwired contractor installed contraption so I’m still eager to see what it’ll ultimately do via HomeKit or the other automation protocols.
