Brother TN-450 TN450 High Yield Toner Cartridge

Our Workhorse Printer

It can be very expensive to print especially with inkjet printers. In 2012 we purchased a Brother HL-2270DW Laser Printer, which uses the TN-450 cartridge, and since that time it is our household's default printer. Although I have not checked in detail, but this cartridge seems to print the specified number of copies. The HL-2270DW + TN-450 system has been very reliable and very good print copy. It and our HP Deskjet 6127 color inkjet are the most dependable printers we have ever owned.

Very Impressed with Pro901

For years I have only bought and used HP printers primarily because of HP reliability. Since I am upgrading my home network, concluded that an all-in-one printer would be a good upgrade. After considerable research that included on-line reviews, Consumer Reports recommended models, reviewing product manuals, Lexmark site video demos, etc, I was somewhat apprehensive but decided to go with the Pro901. It has been a great decision. Lexmark's customer service and support has been excellent, it is like they have anticipated most every customer need and have proactively integrated them into the process for a very smooth installation. The wireless access mode has been great, and works very well with my recent router upgrade to a NetGear WNDR3700. I can now proceed with retiring an old Win ME HP5bw250 desktop used with an HP Scanjet 41200C. Finally, although I am still running off the ink cartridges that came with the Pro901, I am looking forward to lower ink costs since this model is in the product line that uses inexpensive ink cartridges. For my home network, the Pro901 has been an excellent fit so far.

A Very Good Solution

I first learned about this product from Kim Komando. A listener wanted a device to record interviews with elderly family members to document family history. Not only is this great for that application, it is also a terrific MP3 player. At 1GB it can store hours of audio. It would have received an Excellent rating if the display was larger. Otherwise, its compact design and USB connect is easy to use and connect to a USB port.
