Awesome machine!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful I had origanaly bought a cheaper Sunmile grinder made mostly of plastic and metal to make cat food and It was not able to grind small chicken wings without jamming . My housekeeper made the mistake of putting the metal parts in the dishwasher only to have the finish eaten off and leaving a black resideau coating all the parts making it useless for food.
I decided to invest in the stainless steel LEM grinder as all parts are dishwasher safe and it's a real workhorse making it a pleasure to use.
The LEM does weighs more than the grinder made of plastic and aluminum @ 47 pounds but has a handle to make carrying it easy.
I highly recommend adding the foot switch as it's like having a third hand.You can keep both hands free to put the meat into the grinder while your foot controls keeping the grinder on or off. Not only will it make the grinding process easier, it will keep your grinder cleaner and more sanitary since you won’t be smearing your meaty hands all over the button.
