good product for todays Truckers
The nuvi 465T does not come with an operating manual. It is not as easy to navigate compared to other trucking GPS units. It does Have some interesting features like posted speed limit, however the speed limit is for cars. does not show the speed limit for trucks, where split speeds are located, such as Tennessee and Michigan. The traffic alert is a nice function when you can get a transmission. It shows most aproaching weigh stations. It shows upcoming windy roads. The data entry fields have to be politically correct. I've only used this unit for 2 weeks and 6000 miles. still trying to learn my way around the software. It took 12 hrs to update the maps,not complaining, they were free. Customer support from Garmin is excellent. If you have time to learn your way around, you will like this unit. As of this time, it has not put me into a residential housing allotment like my last. overall I would say it is satisfactory.
