YOU WOULD NEED 9v BATTARY.
Yes gift wrapped it for wife for Christmas and thought we will have singing sessions at the party. Thought I was smart when I took some AA and AAA battery with me. Guess what it needed 9 v.
Its clear and works even if you r in a different room 6-10 ft away. This will not happen if your battery is half way down. So keep couple of 9v at all time. Overall greatly happy. Its just been 1 week so really can't say how long it will last. But quality wise very good.
