Knobs generally good, but inserts were too thick.
The knobs were suitable replacements, but the inserts were too thick. I tried pressing the insert further into the knob, but this resulted in discoloring of the black knob. See the photo with two knobs. The knob on the left shows two places where the black turned to white where the insert was pressed in.
As a result, I ended up having to grind down the insert to make it flush with the back of the knob. This allowed the knob to fit further on the shaft and closer to the range top.
