quality unit, easy to install and use.
I purchased a used PAE 4448 from an ebayer in Florida. I have been using it in an off grid vacation cabin, it has been running 24-7 for 6 months powering a refrigerator, a freezer, a 1/3hp pump all of the cabin lights, microwave, PC etc. I have yet to overload it to shut down, though meters show that I have surged it into the 5500 watt range on several occasions.
To date it has not given me any problems and I am looking to buy another one to parallel stack them so that I can run the above items + a split pack AC unit.
