Look good, smell good, ride good...
First off. Look good, smell good, ride good. Start from the beginning. I have ordered things off the internet, Ebay as such and even internationally, but I was kind of skeptical this time due to the size of my order. So I ordered anyway, its Ebay. I made the order on Sunday night or Monday morning. Early Thursday morning, walah, the first 2 tires were here. And when I received them I immediately realized that this is not going to work. See I have some pirelli scorpions (mismatch tho) on my SUV now, and these 2 imove tires got way more meat than the pirelli. Its going to throw everything off and I need an alignment. That's why I'm writing this twice because, Thursday morning when I got them I realized I needed 2 more. So I ordered. Boom early Monday morning they at my door. And those are the 2 that smell good, like some brand new tires (have my garage smelling like a tire shop. All good). Now I'm waiting to have them installed. To be continued.......
But my rant. As of April fools day '23, there is 1 comparison of tires like what I've purchased, and those 2 tires cost the same as I paid for all 4. It really don't make any sense how the price of tires went up 300%. Every time I just click on a tire the price goes up. This all started b4 Corona. See I bought some $40 18 Lexani tires from Walmart that was a fiasco, go back they $60. Click on it again now they $75 and I'm telling you. I originally thought that I was paying fair price, but goll-ly Weeks later, the price doubled. I ended up getting the best deal. The problem is, I needs 107V on my tires for speeding purposes. My SUV isn't the slowest and we speeds on the highway here in Texas 75/80 right lane. So you have to keep up or get ran over. And for the longest that was a Pirelli Scorpion. That tire was less than $150 a year ago. And see I went then and acquired about that tire and all of a sudden price change. So I'm saying this, I'll probably never buy a name brand tire again since I have a somewhat understanding of the numbers on tires mean. Off brand better than the name brand.
