Strange design
1 of 1 found this helpful We really like Kitchenaid products. For the most part they are solidly built and well designed.
Two design issues that I question about this toaster that sort of bother me.
1- The power cord comes out of the FRONT corner of the toaster instead of out the rear as every other toaster that I have owned.
2-The crumb catch trays come out of the rear
of the toaster, which makes emptying the trays, which they suggest you do after each use, somewhat of an inconvenience as you have to pull the toaster out and turn it around to accomplish this.
And no.... the cover is not simply installed backwards... that was my first thought.

Results better than advertised!
This device saved me about a thousand dollars in golf cart batteries! The results have been remarkable. You can connect it then forget it...it does it's work 24/7 without any intervention
from the user. Batteries charge much faster, and run longer before recharging is needed.
