Looks good on a Yamaha XS650

Installed on my 1980 Yamaha XS650. It is purposefully a bit short, but does block the wind from my chest and pushes it to my helmet. Gave me an extra 5-10 mph of comfort on the freeway, which was the goal. Installed easily and looks good. If you are looking for a small windshield for the old XS, this is a very good choice.

Needs a PATA 1.8" ZIF SSD to be worthwhile. Has limitations, but nice.

Nice laptop with a few glaring deficiencies. Problem 1: PATA ZIF 1.8" Hard Drive. This Hard Drive is slow junk, regardless of how fast it is spinning. It will drive you crazy. The only thing to do is find a new PATA SSD, which needs to be 1.8" ZIF. I recommend RunCore. However, the hard drive will cost as much as the computer, so make sure to add that into the price. With the SSD, the machine runs faster than many new machines, without it, just forgetaboutit. Problem 2: Battery Life The 6-cell batter will last about 1.5 hours, the 9-cell will give you 50% more. By modern standards, this is not acceptable, and there is nothing you can do about it. Problem 3: Heat The little beast gets hot. Problem 4: No Webcam This is become more and more necessary from a business computer. Problem 4: Chipset. Uses an ancient Intel chipset which gives poor video and poor battery life. Now, good things about this laptop: Good Thing 1: Size / Construction This laptop is thin, lightweight, and very well put together. Good Thing 2: Screen Sure, it isn't that awesome, but a 16:10 ratio 12" screen is perfect for on the go work. Good Thing 3; It's a Latitude (D-Series) Standard docks work, so you can be light on the go, and then dock it in when you get to the office and have a full keyboard and multiple screens to work with. Good Thing 4: Keyboard One of the best in the business, and no sacrifices. Good Thing 5: WWAN Slot You can put a 3G card in it for on the go computing. Good Thing 6: Speed Ok, so how can a 1.33GHz C2D be fast? Put a nice SSD in it, 2GB Ram, run Windows XP and you'll never know it isn't the latest and greatest. Conclusion If you are looking for a lightweight, well built laptop that can be docked into something bigger, and don't need a lot of battery time. This is a good machine. Just make sure you buy a SSD to go along with it. With the SSD, you have a decent machine that has some shortcomings, but is very livable. Good luck!

Fits well, helps in converting snowmobile helmet to motorcycle helmet

Need this to convert a GMax GM64 snowmobile helmet to a motorcycle helmet. Only other item necessary was a motorcycle face shield. Worked great and saved some money.
