Does exactly what it's supposed to do.
3 of 3 found this helpful I've used this softbox a couple times now, and I'm really happy with it's performance. Super easy to set up and take down, and it works flawlessly with my radio triggered flashes. I've used it both with and without the diffusion panel with good result. Without the panel the quality of light was more spectral and helped enhance the image I was trying to achieve, to make a subject pop against a black background. With the diffusion panel, I got a nice soft light that wrapped around the face of my granddaughter, once again giving me exactly the look I was going for. My only criticism is that it only has a mounting access for using it in a vertical format. In all honesty, that is probably the only orientation that I would want when going for a portrait. But it would be nice to have a mounting access that would give me a horizontal spread of the light.

Excellent Weather Radio
1 of 1 found this helpful I like the way this radio looks, and the footprint on my bedside table. It is easy to read, and when alerts come on the back light automatically comes on so you can read it in the dark. My only complaint is that, being and LCD screen you need to have the back light on to be able to read it in the dark. I'd hoped to use it as a replacement for my clock radio, but the brightness options are a bit too bright for my sleep patterns. It was relatively easy to set up, and program for my specific location. So I only get alerts for just my area. Reception is good, but if needed I can pull up the antenna for maximum range. The alert tones are loud enough for me to hear them all the way in my living room, some 60' away, and you can customize which alerts you want to hear and which you can ignore. (I don't need avalanche warnings living above a swampy ancient lake bed in Michigan). All-in-all a great weather radio

Handy tool if you're not good at guessing initial settings
Helpful when your eye has trouble detecting initial settings for your exposure. Cumbersome to have to remember to carry it with you, but in tricky light conditions it helps remove the guessing. I haven't tried it yet for custom white balance, so I don't know if the gray portion is big enough to work well. The silver reflector side is not really big enough to help, except when you might want a spot of brighter light on the subject. Good value for the price.
