Way too tall for 40mm objective scope
1 of 1 found this helpful For the price it’s pretty impressive. BUT it is WAY too TALL for a 40mm objective scope. The bottom of a 40mm objective is exactly 1/2” above the rail of an AR-15. That’s way too high above the bore axis. The fit and finish are good and it seems well made.

Broke it during install
3 of 3 found this helpful I know you'll say 'he didn't know what he was doing' but that's not entirely the problem. I was using a sight pusher not beating it on with a punch. The problem is the skeletonized body of the sight doesn't have enough surface area to push or punch. I have the HiViz on my PPQ and love it but it wasn't a dovetail mount it screwed in from the bottom. I would stay away from the dovetail version there's just not enough metal in the body for the sight pusher to push against.

Great on Yamaha FZ-09
1 of 1 found this helpful I first bought the RAM U-bolt style mount but found that it put my phone too high above the speedometer. I love this mount because it is much lower. Solid quality with the standard 1" rubber ball on other RAM products. Comes with three screws of different lengths - just use the one that matches the factory bolt you take out of your bar clamps. Highly recommended.
