1/3 of purchase (4 cells), cause flashing charger red .
Alternated number and charge position to no avail. Remaining 8 cells charged to green without trouble. Will retry flashers after rundown cycle. Drop a hint if I should try another solution.

Pefect for Kitchen Junk drawer.
It is what it is. The light plastic handle end cap will unscrew providing what appears to be a storage spot. The handle becomes more rinky dink as a result . The ratchet switch is also less than positive locking and the magnetic tips are very short shafted.
The saving grace is the price & convenient box. Handily portable. Grab & go. Bring penetrating oil for anything rusted. No bit for stripped removal.

Just right for occasional handy hobbyist
Does it's job well. Zero adjust wheel quire finicky . Battery scales good for typical dry cells, not so for rechargables. Light portable handy but probes don't secure to unit. Forever tangled leads.
