I love this little grinder
Two hoppers full is enough for a 12 cup pot and fills the ceramic canister almost to the top. It has a nice little rubber cover to keep the beans from coming out and to store it covered on the counter top. Works way better than any electric grinder I have used, and is easily adjustable.for far more consistent grinds. The canister makes a good temp storage also, keeps the grounds fresh for a while. It would be absolutely perfect with a rubber base to keep it on the counter (traction) and deaden the sound, but I have a rubber disk I put under it for this. Takes a few minutes but well worth the effort.

attractive and easy to care for
This is a good item for the price. I have been using them for a few years now. They last an average of six months or more with daily heavy use, and last longer if you hang them instead of folding, and you are careful about carrying things and letting them rub against a belt buckle or your belly repetitively. The seams and stitching where the ties meet the body will pull out easily if they get caught on something, or if you kneel on the apron and get up without getting the apron out from under your knee first if you aren't careful, but when this happens I punch a small hole through the apron and the separated tie, and drive a small rivet into it and it won't happen again.

excellent pan
As someone who has cooked all my life and works in the industry I recommend this pan for anyone seeking a good nonstick alternative. It is well constructed and commercial quality. Follow the directions for seasoning that come with the pan. It is a very simple and straightforward process. I prefer flaxseed oil for pan seasoning. I bought this as an alternative to aluminum cookware and non stick coatings to see how it would perform. I was pleasantly surprised. With minimal maintenance I expect this pan will last a lifetime and beyond.
It is much lighter than my cast iron but heats quickly and retains the heat well and evenly. The silicone handle keeps the handle very cool to the touch. I washed and seasoned the pan as per the included instructions and put it away until first use. I would recommend a plastic scrubber or just a good dishcloth to preserve the patina as much as possible. No need to scour. My first use was making scrambled eggs. I used a small amount of butter in the pan. They cooked quickly and very well with no sign of sticking even when I got some on the wall of the pan where the butter hadn't touched. It would be very easy to make an omelet with this pan. The eggs slid out of the pan just as well as any non stick coated pan I have ever used.
This was my first experience with a carbon steel pan. I feel comfortable already saying this is a pan any cook would love to own and use. I can't wait to explore it to it's fullest potentials.
