plug and play replacement for 6th gen i3
swapped an i3 for this i5 (uses same socket) and, once the BIOS had caught up it started running straight away. Now have 4 cores, instead of 2 for same TDP :)

great for older applications but very slow and not great for Internet browsing (especially video)
whilst it doesn't have the fastest processor in the world, this little box makes an adequate PC for older applications - in my case, using it to support some of my astronomy equipment where it's low power consumption is a boom.
upgraded it to Linux Mint, with a small SDD and it's more than adequate for what I need.
There lots of other USFF (Ultra Small Form Factor) PC's out there, but this delivers a good price / performance ratio.

Fiddly to set up, then easy to use
0 of 1 found this helpful You need to set up a fitbit account / app to get this to work (especially if the battery has been run down) and it took me several attempts to get it working (be patient, the first synch takes ages).
Once it is set up, it's intuitive and easy to use and works well my diating app (MyNetDiary - at extra cost).
Al that said, it does exactly what I want it to.
