The Immortal Charlie Parker on Savoy

Loved this remake!!

I was always a fan of the original movie, so I was pretty skeptical that this movie could live up to it. In fact, I wanted to hate this one. Boy, was I happy to be wrong. Even if you've never seen the original move with Joe Spinell, It's totally worth the watch, but be forewarned, it is a BRUTAL movie, in both content and in images (lots of bloody special effects/messed up storyline/not for the faint of heart). That being, said if you're a fan of the old one, you'll catch a lot of homage to the first one here and I can almost guarantee you'll enjoy it!!
