KALORIK 180 WATT PROFESSIONAL STYLE FOOD SLICER, SILVER - Refurbished

Good product for the price, but blade was not properly cleaned before shipment.

I would have given this a 5 star rating as a recon purchase, but unfortunately they did not clean the blade very well and we found the drive area of the blade full of grease from the previous user. Other than that I am really pleased with the unit, especially in view of the purchase cost. I bought this to slice a 4 1/2 lb pastrami that I had purchased and had shipped to me. The unit did a fine job slicing the pastrami, and I really liked the thickness control. The 180W motor is a bit short of real torque, but it did cut fine when we learned to push the pastrami slowly thru the blade. The unit is a bit small, and so we had to cut the pastrami in half the long way. But again considering the price I paid I am fully satisfied, except for the greasy blade.
