Discipline done right has great rewards for all concerned.
I read this book 30 years ago and was really blessed by the wisdom it conveys on child discipline by age and ability. All children are not the same but many common sense methods of fair, loving, ways to discipline are effective for most children. It gave me confidence on how to discipline with love. Dr. Dobson writes in a easy to understand manner with great insight. A friend wanted to borrow my book and I had already given it away years ago to another friend with young children. So I ordered again, glad that I was able to find it for a reasonable price. I definitely recommend this book to all with young children or as a gift to someone who is expecting. Those with older children will benefit from it also. If you have made mistakes it is not to late to turn things around with love and understanding that discipline does not have to be a unrewarded chore. It does work with good results when done right.
