FDR - History Channel production
A superb, no holds barred presentation about one of the greatest presidents in the country's history, warts and all. The backdrop investigation into the time's atmosphere (atmospheres, really - given the multiple, disparate issues) was excellent.

Sword of Gideon - precursor film to Munich
1 of 1 found this helpful A superb cast (Michael York, Rod Steiger, Steven Bauer, amongst others). Excellent choice to cast Bauer as an Israeli lieutenant. He showed what he can do as an actor, when he really puts his mind to it. His mannerisms, accent and the like would have you believe that a Cuban-American kid from Miami was a Sabra from a small kibbutz! With all due respect to Steven Speilberg, I view this film as superior to Munich, particularly given the almost 20 year time lag between the two pictures.
