Look good but not a very high defense against briars.
My only complaint is that they are not double layered where the "canvas" is. They are single layered pant all the way around.

Good value
For the price you'll be hard pressed to beat it. The optics are clear, adjustable with comfortable eye relief and the unit is compact. Has angle compensation mode. It is amazingly fast and if you use the constant range mode you'll be surprised at the speed. Also it displays to the tenth yard or meter whichever you are using i.e 23.6 yards. If I had to find a negative it would be the display may seem crowded with tenth yards, but that's only if you're worried about confusion. Again for what I paid ($120) I couldn't be happier. If you want an illuminated display they have a competitively priced model that has it.

Good printed manual
I prefer to have the data in print and not electronic. Once you have it in print you have it forever. Also hornady book has loads not found in other manuals. Kept me from needing to buy different powders because the ones I had were listed in the manual.
