Gretsch G9025 Hinged Tom Mount Bracket

Solid and handsome.

I replaced my old Gretsch Techware tom clamp with this one because somebody tightened my old one so tightly that it bent the body inward and was no longer able to be tensioned tightly enough to grip tightly. I think this new hinge design may be better and yes: it fit right into the old holes on my 1970’s USA Gretsch kit.

Short and sweet. Sounds good.

I was using SM 57 on my snare and toms but I keep my cymbals low so these shorter mics fit under the cymbals better and sound fine. The clips fit on the diecast rims of my Gretsch USA drums easily and securely. I’m glad I took the plunge.
