Tailgate assist shock
I installed 2 shocks based on other reviewers recommendations. My tailgate (2000 F350 Super Duty) is heavy. One shock (Driver’s side) helps the quick drop when opening the gate from slamming the support cables. 2 shocks slows it even better and is much nicer (personal preference). especially since my tailgate has some body filler. One thing though, When installing on the passenger side the lower hole needs to be drilled out to 1/2”. Also a hose clamp needs to be wrapped around the hinge as for some reason the shock pulls the tailgate pin out of the hinge. In all I really like the smoothness with 2 although are pricey. Time will tell if the performance lasts.

Oil drain
Perfect compliment to oil pan. Easy and clean way to change engine oil. After changing my engine oil I over filled it by a quart. It was so simple to remove the excess. All car manufacturers should have this on every engine they install.

Great jig mold. Just be sure to warm it up before adding the hooks. I just do a few pours without the hooks to bring it up to temperature first.
