Honeywell 50250
2 of 3 found this helpful Having researched this purifier extensively, compairing it to others on the market I decided on the 50250 Honneywell because of the recommendations by doctors and its physical dimensions along with the intake and exhaust design. It also removes 99.97% of what we don't want to inhale. Our home is 2 story, 3000+ sq. ft., we placed it central to the stair well because the intake is around the outside and the exhaust is out the top which "shoots up to the ceiling area of the "high" stair well and within a day, 27/7 on "low" I was without the dust on the blinds, piano and all flat surfaces in the lower section of the house which has a dining room, living and family room, kitchen, nook and a bedroom. Hard to believe considering the size of the area it is covering. Very satisfied. Having read other customer ratings, how loud the unit was to others is no concern to us, to move that much air has to make some noise given the unit's size. We are very satisfied with the Honeywell 50250. A co-worker had purchased this type of Honeywell prevously and is also very pleased with its performance. We have a smaller upright purifier , not a Honneywell in our master bedroom which handles that room adaquately. Because of the Honeywell in the lower of the house the upper is staying cleaner and vacuuming has become less of an issue. Honeywell is great, we recommend it.
